Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp fighters, Phuket, Thailand racked up a 2-2 record on the evening of July 6, 2009 at Bangla Muay Thai Stadium.
Raquel started the night off winning her first fight in Thailand after training hard for the last month with a 3rd round KO over her Thai opponent.
Rick won the “Fight of the Night award” as he scored a 30 second KO over experienced Muay Thai fighter Neudang. Fifteen seconds into the fight Ricky picked up Neudang in the clinch and slammed him to the canvas. Stunned, the Thai fighter got to his feet trying to recover and Ricket stepped in with a left hook catching his opponent clean on the jaw for the KO and the victory.
In the advance Muay Thai class Cyrus and Singmanee both lost their fights on points. Cyrus moved up in class taking on veteran fighter with 125+ fights while Singmanee, unable to find opponent at his weight, gave up nearly 10 kg taking on veteran Yasothorn and losing on points. Great technical fight.
