It was a 1-1 evening at Patong as Cadren (Australia) and Nazee (TMT trainer) entered the rings for Muay thai fights on September 19, 2008. Cadren, taking the fight on short notice made quick work of a fighter from another camp scoring a 1st round KO and looking good in the process. Using techniques taught by his trainers, Cadren scored low and high before dropping his foreign opponent with a hard combination in the corner.
Nazee, orginaly scheduled to fight a strong Thai fighter is his weight class, was again given an even more difficult fight against an experienced veteran Thai fighter with a 15+ kg advantage over Nazee. Despite the weight advantage, Nazee, a true Muay Thai warrior, accepted the fight and went 5- hard rounds losing on points. Nazee still looked good using a variety of Muay thai attacks including spinning back elbow, jumping elbow, and flying knee. Nazee concentrated his attack on his opponent’s midsection, but his opponent was 3 weight classes above Nazee and just too large. Even the foreign crowd cheered Nazee on as he was the smaller fighter.
